Playverz has recently concluded a successful AMA hosted by TokenHunter
Here’s a recap on the AMA session.
Q1. Could you plz introduce the founders of Playverz?
Zad & Saurabh: Firstly, a thank you to the community members for tuning in to our AMA session and a big thank you to TokenHunter for hosting us. I am Saurabh who oversees tech & product at Plavyerz. I am working in Tech domain for 10+ years. Prior to this, I was working with Grab Singapore for 3+ years. And before that I was working with Google India.
I’m zad who oversees marketing and community at playverz. Currently based out of Singapore. I previously spent some time as a regional digital marketer at a telco company in Malaysia and 2 years in Vietnam running a HR gamification startup. Together we previously started a gaming app with more than 200K users around southeast asia and we’re bringing our experience to playverz. The name playverz was chosen because we wanted to create a universe where gamers can escape to play and have fun.
Q2. What are the problems Playverz is trying to solve?
Zad: Currently there is a high barrier to entry for NFT games.
Firstly, it is difficult for gamers to find a suitable game to play in the market. Gamers typically have to go through hundreds of YouTube videos and discord channels to find a game that fits their skills and taste
Secondly, It costs hundreds of dollars to purchase the NFT characters and items necessary just to get started for most games.
Thirdly, it’s very difficult for new gamers to be using crypto wallets and swapping tokens to start playing.
Lastly, once started gamers have to spend very long hours gaming to earn. Sadly alot of the current play-to-earn games are not necessarily fun.
With these problems in mind, we saw an opportunity to build a portal to the P2E world, an accessible platform for all gamers to be able to play, earn and connect.
Q3. Can you explain the Playverz project and token utlity?
Zad: Playverz is your play to earn entertainment hub where you can play and compete across hundreds of games titles on the platform and discover communities.
To make p2e games more accessible we are removing the hassle of using crypto wallets and we are helping gamers discover the games they are interested in through our data driven algorithm.
As a gamer you can play games, use your NFTs and manage all your earnings on one platform.There are 6 main utilities for the playverz token, Firstly, users can enter games and esports tournaments with their tokens to earn more tokens.
Secondly, users can also buy real estate to host their own tournaments in the future and customise experiences for the community.
Thirdly users can stake the tokens to access membership privileges such as higher earning yields and exclusive content such as special chat features or exclusive NFT drops from us and our partners.
Fourth, gamers can buy NFTs within the Playverz marketplace
Fifth, gamers can acces private sales of upcoming games
Lastly, playverz token is a governance token that allows holders to able to participate in the future of Playverz.
We will also continuously expand the utility of the tokens to drive value.
Q4. Who are the partners you have onboard?
Zad: We are in discussions with a few well known partners currently and we’ll announce subsequently. But we have onboard industry leading partners such as Enjinstarter, Launchpool, Polygon and some of our advisors include Marc from Enjin, Chase from OPgames, who are all very experienced in the blockchain industry.
Q5. What does the future look like for Playverz?
Zad: Currently besides having great partners onboard, we recently had a wildly oversubscribed token sale on Launchpool platform and our community is growing rapidly, we are grateful for the support and trust we are getting from the community.
We will be doing our launchpad sale and public sale soon and thereafter we will be launching the playverz app with 10 games initially and will continuously expand our game titles in the future by working with more game developers. To grow the playverz ecosystem further, we will be announcing a series of collaborations with influencers and other partners soon too.
We also have plans to partner with local partners in different regions to make it accessible for gamers in these regions to start playing and earning on Playverz.
Ultimately we want to be the mobile P2E entertainment hub in every gamer’s pocket!

Q1. I’m really looking forward to the launch of playverz! Because it is very convenient as a mobile game! Can you tell me if I need to use your tokens to join it?
Zad: We’re glad that you are excited for the launch of playverz. You will be able to download the playverz app to play games for free and also utilize the playverz tokens to access more services and features such as higher earning games, access to Playverz memberships with higher earning benefits and exclusive access to member only perks and many more.
Playverz tokens will come with multiple utilities within the playverz ecosystem as shared previously.
Q2. Does Playverz pursue personalized experience? I read that you seem to build the user interface according to the NFT holdings of users. Can you explain it in detail?
Zad: Yes based on gamers interest, gameplay and other past experiences on the app, we will be able to personalize or recommend games that gamers might like, for each gamer individually. This personalization includes both casual games and upcoming P2E games. In terms of NFTs,Gamers will be able to utilize their NFTs on the playverz platform in ways such as, having their NFTs on their profile and in specific games. Playverz will also be dropping our own exclusive NFTs which provides NFT holders access to exclusive benefits and experiences on the playverz platform.
Q3. Why #playverz is targeting the old games? Recently, most people like games that are challenging, slightly complicated, and provide a cool interface. Is this decision based on target users of a certain age? In the near future, do you have any plans to provide more special games?
Zad: With accessibility in mind, our goal is to help users start their blockchain gaming journey with ease. Playverz will launch casual games initially with some of the gameplays very similar to the “old games” which you have mentioned. This is to allow gamers to start playing and earning easily without worrying about game mechanics. If you are an axie player you might have experienced some friction in your early days where you have to understand how to breed, how to build a team, how to use each of the axis etc. These are all frictions that we aim to remove for new P2E gamers early on. But in the future, we will be working with blockchain game developers to integrate upcoming and maybe even existing NFT games on the Playverz platform. So in the future there will be a mix of casual games and special games on the playverz platform.
Q4. Is blockchain playverz (PLVZ) currently focused on gaming? I’m not a gamer, can I earn without playing your game? The biggest problem nowadays is not all smartphones are capable of playing your games, do you have any solution for this?
Zad: Yes we are a gaming platform. Yes, there are still many ways to earn on and benefit from playverz even if you are not a gamer. You can stake your playverz tokens to earn rewards, provide Playverz scholarships to other players, trade NFTs and many more!
The second part of your question is another reason why we want to focus on casual games initially. Gamers will be able to play Playverz’s games on most smartphones which includes those smartphones which are on the lower end.
With this, this will allow more gamers to enter the blockchain gaming space.
Q5. playverz is building a decentralized universe of casual games for everyone around the world to play fun and easy games and earn money. But, easy games are usually short duration per game, how much can a user earn from one game? How much will I have to play to win?
Zad: Casual games have shorter gaming sessions but are not necessarily easy as you still need skills to play and there are also progression in each games such as multiple levels.
On Playverz you can access hundreds of these games which we are sure you will be entertained!
However as shared this is only for the initial phase, we will be integrating with more NFT games in the future to ensure Playverz app has a mix of short and long game titles.
On Playverz, gamers can join games with different game modes such as Player vs Playver or Championships. Each of these have different entry requirements. For example some games are free and others require Playverz tokens to join. Based on the entry factors the rewards are also different, so there are many options based on gamer’s spending ability.Entry fees for some games can range from a few cents to a few dollars worth of Playverz tokens but Earnings per game could range from tens of dollars to hundreds of dollars worth of Playverz tokens.
Q6. How do new users participate in #Playverz?Are there any conditions for participate in #Playverz? Can you tell us about that sir, i think this is important.

Zad: You’re right, there’s just too many hype out there and many projects raised funds from the market without building anything.
